I’m Wendy Nash and I’m the Social Sales Director at The Press Lounge. We celebrate all types of social occasions and events at Press, including really beautiful weddings, milestone birthdays, graduations, rehearsal dinners, engagements… you name it!
We bring a culinary team up to Press from PRINT. The restaurant’s farm-to-table menu, with seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced by in-house forager Meghan Boledovich, carries over to the catering menu. We have our standard event menus created by Executive Chef Gary King and Pastry Chef Amy Hess, but will always work with a guest to create a custom and personalized experience. While Press is a lounge, we are proud to give our guests a high-end dining experience. And our food is really great.
What makes events so special at Press is that they are all one-of-a-kind. Each event has a different setup and decor, using the host’s own vision of the space to transform Press into something unique. The beauty of hosting an event with us is that you can keep it simple, and it’s still breathtaking. You’d be amazed how many guests get off the elevator and just smile and comment on the space and the view. I work with each client from the moment they come see the space until the day of their event, which is like watching the curtain pull back on opening night!
The Press Lounge is open to the public on the nights when we don’t have a private event. Since we’re a high-volume lounge, we’re used to big crowds. Our staff is fantastic – very attentive, pleasant, courteous, and timely. The guest never waits for a drink, not even at a reception for 200.
